6 Years of Daily Use & Kid-Tested! (Great for Desks or Dining) I originally purchased this chair in 2019 for my son’s desk, and it has been used daily for the past six years. I’m honestly impressed by how well the materials have held up. The plastic seat and manufactured wood legs haven't cracked, peeled, or faded at all despite the heavy use. For size reference, it fits an adult or older child comfortably—my son was nearly 6' tall in the earlier photos and used it without an issue. The aesthetic is clean and modern, fitting in well with most decor. Pro-Tip for Hardwood Floors: The only minor issue I had was some slight scratching on my wood floors. I solved this easily by adding some $6 clear 'sock-style' boots with felt bottoms. It now slides perfectly and hasn't left a mark since! As a testament to the durability—even though my younger kids eventually used the seat as a coloring book (see the last photo!), the chair itself remains as sturdy as the day we bought it. Takeaway good simple option for what I was looking for. Quality Metal quality itself is still better than other similar chairs I’ve seen. Finish also looks good. You can see some underlying imperfections in the metal upon close inspection, but who has time for that I ordered this same set over 5 years ago and the screws used to match the color of the chair (they are silver now). Prefer the color match screws, guess i could spray paint to match. Assembly Easy in that you only have to attach four screws to connect base with chair back. But, somewhat frustrating. Screw holes didn’t match up without loosely screwing in other connection points and forcing the metal frame to align. Doable, but not ideal. I chose the pink - very pale, floats nicely in the decor. I'm 'plus size' and won't be using it as seating myself, but it's definitely sturdy enough for a teen girl's room or for extra seating for friends of a healthy weight. It makes a terrific bedroom side table for me for now. When I move to a place with a large enough bathroom, I'll put it in there, and stack towels or a fern on it. Lightweight, of course.
