The box became damaged during transit. After opening and removing the first layer of the plastic wrap I begin hearing an oozing sound, contrary to me not even opening the standard vacuum wrapped plastic. Ladies, this mattress topper was a game changer for me. I have a Cal King adjustable bed and I hate the seam down the middle. I’ve tried everything and could always feel the split. So. Maybe this is a me problem since I didn’t think about it in advance but this mattress is extremely thick, which means standard sheets will not be able to reach over the top of tuck underneath it. The mattress is perfectly comfortable (I bought a twin size for my sons bed) but I’m now annoyed that I will have to buy all new sheets with deep pockets if I want to be able to tuck them in, which I like to do to have a clean look.. We recently purchased this king-size hybrid mattress, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. It puffed up nicely right out of the box and was ready to use quickly.
