Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. I ordered the 22" with feather insert, which was expensive but it's a very nice pillow. It took a while to arrive and came in a plastic bag - I guess I was expecting a box due to the expense, but it arrived in good condition. As others have stated, the color is a little more pinkish than shown and I've tried to show photos more representive of what I received, but then again, monitors vary. These pillows are the bees knees. I have bought so many pillows over the years, expensive pillows, cheap pillows, online pillows, in store pillows, and ALL those pillows have failed me miserably. However, I noticed that when I go to a hotel, those pillows don't give me neck and head pain when I wake up. So I tried to recreate that experience with these Goose feather pillows, and they are right on time. I just received them, gave them 2 days to decompress (from vacuum packing), and slept on them for the first time last night. NO NECK, SHOULDER, NOR HEAD PAIN AT ALL! It's truly the simple things. Also, I have not seen one feather from two days of fluffing til now. The covering is well insulated, but to be extra sure, I also put a pillow protector over them before adding my pillow case.
