I needed something to store extra dishes and also display my Christmas village. We were a bit hesitant to get this because it had no reviews yet, but it was on sale so we decided to get it. Overall we are happy with it for the sale price (50 off) but if I had paid full price I would probably be unsatisfied. The material seems a bit cheap in some spots, there were 3 spots where the wood was slightly chipped and damaged . The listing definitely doesn’t show that the paneling on the legs is actually made of flexible board that velcros on. This can be looked at as a plus because there is additional hidden shelving behind it so we will be using it for extra storage space, but if that would have been shown I’m not sure I would have purchased this as it does look a bit cheap up close. Assembly was somewhat challenging but if you have a decent amount of experience assembling furniture it’s not too bad and it actually does come with extra reinforcement assembly tools such as sliding pads to protect your floors and small wedges to really keep the backing in place. This looks even better in person! I love it in my space. The doors slide and are perfect for the tight space. I’m not sure I’d want these sliders for daily access, but for occasional access it’s perfect. Two adjustable shelves with a few height options are included. I love the cabinet and the pulls. They look great. The legs-well you get what you pay for- the legs are painted beige and low quality, with a bit of black plastic showing oddly, but are not very noticeable. I may swap them later but, due to the imperfection, we installed them twice in order to get the worst ones in the back. The back of the unit is finished but you can see the fasteners so that you may not want it visible, but looks good enough. All in all, for the price, I am thrilled.. Sacha. San Francisco.
