Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. I think that it's a perfect heater! However, when I ordered it I thought it could stand alone on the floor along the baseboard. As it turns out, it has to be mounted to the wall, even when you have it sitting on the floor. My landlord doesn't want holes in the walls, so I had to return and replace it. I'm really sorry I had to do this as the heater has the best looking appearance I've ever seen in any space heater. Wayfair was totally helpful in arranging a return and went way above and beyond.. This heater can put out some heat!! I set mine at 60 degrees and it stays 70-80 degrees in my well insulated small home. It is NOT a wall insert - it mounts in the floor- I purchased it to mount on the wall and then had to call Wayfair because it does not mount on the wall as advertised. This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. The thermostat does a good job shutting the unit on and off as needed. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring.
