The burner and pan are ok. Some of the fittings for the natural gas hook-up looked corroded, and were made in China. So had to purchase new fittings to connect the gas to be safe. i have 10 of these heaters - both in NG and LP for an off grid cabin in all three sizes - best value for a straight foreward reliable heater - simple thermostatic control - no bells and whistles make it easy to repair and replace parts that are readilly available - no power needed - if you have 120v you can position a fan above the heater - got lucky when i found these on line. Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. This heater can put out some heat!! I set mine at 60 degrees and it stays 70-80 degrees in my well insulated small home. It is NOT a wall insert - it mounts in the floor- I purchased it to mount on the wall and then had to call Wayfair because it does not mount on the wall as advertised. This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. The thermostat does a good job shutting the unit on and off as needed.
