First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!!
