The worst part was getting it up the stairs because the boxes are so heavy. The heaviest box is 150 lbs! Then you need to unbox everything and put the covers on all of the cushions. After that it’s pretty simple except that the metal pieces that clamp it together are too tight. Do yourself a favor and use a flat head screwdriver to slightly bend the pieces at the back side. It will be much easier! We have one more piece that needs to go on the end, but we need to get rid of our old couch first. Overall, once it’s put together it’s sturdy and very comfortable.
