Very happy with this carrier! I’ve ordered several to see what I like. I needed a larger one for my 14 pound dog who is tall. This carrier flexes, which is awesome. I was able to squish it down to 9” high to fit under an airline seat. It does not have an opening on top - there is another Katziela model that does. Well, I did my research and this is just spectacular. It only weighs 8 1/2 pounds but it can hold 40 pounds and it can literally put two small dogs in there. It has a cupholder that sits at the top so easy to fold by pressing two buttons does not hurt your fingers and the basket part lifts out . It is completely covered with a thick mash, so no Coyote can attack or get to your dog, and the dog just loves sitting in the stroller I put the dog in through the back where I unzipper and put the dog in.
