I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. Okay, we installed the backsplash and it looks fantastic. I believe it takes two people to hold it; so in my opinion it is not a one person task. First, you need a hairdryer to warm up the protective plastic that is to be peeled off. It may be best to hire a handy person or pro install; get someone with patience and nimble fingers to handle the small hardware parts. Now that it is in place, I do love it. Hope this helps.. Julia.
