Very attractive much the color is much darker than advertised. More like a dark redwood. Very low profile but it’s exactly what I was looking for so I’m happy. I paid the extra 84 to have it assembled professionally . It was definitely worth the money and took him an hour. Instructions do say you need two people but he was able to do it alone. 4 stars bc a corner of headboard came damaged. Customer service took care of it immediately and refunded me 99 bc I didn’t have time to wait for a new one. Disappointing but it’s Actually hidden by bedding. Absolutely love our new bed frame. Super cheap and worth every penny. Took my husband about 3 hours to set it up with minimal help from me. It came with everything to put it together. My only complaint is on the shipping. They used fed ex which I hate. The driver left my package outside on the side walk instead of delivering to my front door. thankfully it was so heavy no one stole it. Make sure you have 2 people to pick it up. The package weighs like 150-200 pounds. My package also came damaged but thankfully, they used enough Styrofoam that it didn’t damage the frame. This bed is easy to put together and a nice height from the floor. Have been using it for about a month and don't have anything bad to say about it. Wasn't super expensive and seems solid so far. I love the look - that said, you get what you pay for. It is not solid wood, but it has a solid presence. This is the brown tone. The faux wood is more of an ash brown than warm brown. The biggest disappointment is that the headboard is unfinished in the back. It is not an issue unless you have a plan of having the bed in the middle of the room with the back of the bee exposed. The other reviews noted it was a challenge to assemble so we opted for Wayfair to arrange assembly. (That move was worrh every penny!!!) The bed arrived in two massive rectangular boxes weighing 85 and 75 pounds. The assembly person moved the awkward to handle boxes up two flights of stairs and that itself was valuable! The build took about 2 hours. Best aspect of the bed besides the look (which is what I wanted) is that it is great for our dog that had a hard time jumping on our taller bed. Put a ring on it. This is the one you've been waiting for. I've been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for a year or so now. I'd hemmed and hawed for quite some time over which bed frame to throw in this room, nothing quite hit just right. Then, this one popped up. It's simple, timeless, and minimally perfect. It goes great in a room with sloped or low ceilings. It makes a statement, but quietly and modestly. It checks all the boxes and does away with all the unnecessary bells and whistles some beds seem to have. It's lovely with honey oak floors, but truly would fit a variety of different styles. It’s versatile and has a transitional quality to it, making it easy to adapt to any aesthetic. That's a huge deal for anyone who wants to change things up every once in a while. Since it's neutral, it brings unity and cohesion to just about any style. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. It took my husband about a half hour or so to assemble - and most of that was spent unboxing. Before putting it together, I added adhesive felt pads to the bottom legs for easy sliding and protection of wood floors. It's solid and well-engineered. It doesn't make a peep when getting on and off. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if I didn't think so highly of this product.
