I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! Love these curtains! They say they are blackout and if I had blinds for my windows they most likely would be. They do filter out quite a bit of light even with no blinds and have significantly cooled down the temperature in the room.
