Not bad! Looks just like the photo in the description. Measured 100 times before I ordered. There is more of a gap towards the bottom right than top. At the top, both sides start at about 34” gap. At the bottom, the right gap ends up being about 1 ¼” and the left about ½”. Mounting was easy as I had slatted blinds, so I just popped those off and replaced the brackets for the new ones - a quick Google search and YouTube video helped. Took about 30 minutes by myself.. Can a shade change your life? I didn't think so until I bought one for a big ugly window we have in our bedroom that faces the street. I rarely lift the shade (street facing window), but it allows me to keep the curtains open and let natural light come in throughout the day. I still pull the shades closed at night because I'm paranoid (haha), but my husband and I tested the shade at night and he said even with the light on, you can't see into the bedroom. Highly recommend!. Melanie. Berkeley, CA. Fri Oct 09 2026
