First , I want to clarify that this product does not come with a kit. If you're expecting installation accessories, be sure to purchase them separately. I overlooked this detail when ordering, so I want to highlight it for anyone considering this shade sail. That being said, the tarp itself is excellent. It is true to size, made from heavy-duty, durable material that feels built to last. The waterproof polyester with PU coating does a great job of blocking both water and UV rays. I live in Sunny South Florida, where the sun can be intense, and the dark color helps significantly in reducing heat and glare, making my outdoor space much more comfortable. I did notice that the actual color differs slightly from the product images. Overall, if you're looking for a sturdy and reliable outdoor tarp, this one delivers. Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. Love the shade sail! Was hoping it would be yellow like the picture, but it is beige. Looks great either way! Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depends on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 - 2 ft space between D rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.

I do love a good sun Shade! I will install these in the spring to replace a set of existing shades that I have. I give them 5 stars for price. But my review on quality will have to come later.. John. Fri Dec 05 2025
