Inspect table and chairs carefully asap. Mine came with multiple cracks in various pieces. Box came all taped up. Dining set is pretty. Not what I thought I was ordering. Seems cheaply made. Seats are compact so you can sit closer to the table while eating. Feels like plastic finishing even when it says wood. Quality and color of seats are more yellowish than cream and seems to be able to show dirt or stain if you spill something. Top is cut up into small wood and not a solid surface. Very sturdy table but I felt deceived by the description. The table definitely looks plasticveneer and not real wood as described. Also scratched with just a finger nail running across it. We are keeping it because it is sturdy and we won’t have it forever. Planning to put additional sealant on to protect from scratching so easily. These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. This beautiful dining set is made of solid American oak. Very solid and crafted to perfection. The Isabella collection brings the midcentury vibe you have been looking for. It just exudes warmth and also a breath of fresh air. Not your usual dining table, this has the spunk. The dining chairs made also of walnut wood and leather seating. Very comfortable if I might add. You will not be disappointed, and you can have a fun evening entertaining your guest.
