It arrived in good shape. No damage to package. The jamb was straight forward to assemble. We knew that the door would require mortising for the hinges so did not have a problem with it. The only issue I had with them were they were so heavy for me to install myself - I had to hire a contractor to put them up which cost more money than the closets unfortunately! Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. I would have left it with the glossy white if not for the water damage that took the finish off the corners. Basically it’s a good door just take care in the install.. Renee. Orangeburg, NY. Wow! This is a solid door - with all the cheap flimsy stuff around these days I didn’t expect that. Still need to get it hung - managed to lose my router attachments that are needed to create the hinge and door latch areas.
