Cute fountain, a bit shorter than I realized. Had some blemishes in the glazing where it looks like someone applied a different material to fix it? The instructions didn’t include a great diagram of the part labeled “leak protector” so I had to find an online instruction manual for a similar fountain from the same company, which used the same part. The pump was a bit unwieldy to position. So far it’s a pleasant sound of water, no drips. Not sure if any birds will use it, I was hoping the sphere on top would attract hummingbirds to bathe. Bought open box item that had been used and did some modifications. The 3 sponges that are glued into the 3 bowls had too much epoxy holding them in taking up a 3rd of the opening and leaving very little sponge for water to run through so they would clog easily. Took sponges out. Ground excess epoxy out of bowls with dremel tool. Put pump in small plastic container with lid. Cut hole in lid for pump hose. Cut hole in back for power cord and drilled multiple holes all around to let water in.
