Love this fountain. I'm writing this review after enjoying the fountain for the whole summer. Now that the fall has arrived birds are making frequent visit to bathe and the squirrels think it's there public drinking fountain. This arrived yesterday. It came direct from the manufacturer in a large heavy duty cardboard box with an incredible amount of heavy paper packing material. The fountain is the large model and is exactly as described dimensions wise. Was easy to assemble although I had a nozzle type piece with no idea what to do with. Anyhow it works just like the picture with about a 2-3” high flow with the pump on high. The pump is very quiet and the water flow makes minimal noise. The pump has a swing vane on the inlet to control flow. The power cord is about 14 feet long. I bought it to attract hummingbirds but no luck yet. Very happy with this fountain and recommend it.. While this fountain is easy to assemble, multiple people are required for the assembly due to the weight of the fountain components. This fountain produces an echo sound that can be heard at distance, but drowned out by moderate traffic noise, and a minimal amount of splash.

Love this! I bought 3 to place side by side on a ledge. The videos were helpful for set up. The directions in the box were a little tricky, though. My fountain was easily assembled however the problem I discovered was that in order to use the light, I needed two outlets and I already was using one for my patio lights. So I plugged the light to the fountain into the automatic timer and it comes on now when my outside lights do. It works perfectly and l’m pleased. The sound was very important to me because I’ve had fountains before that made a hollow sound and not very relaxing, this one is soothing as it cascades over the rippled edges and doesn’t splash outside the fountain..
