Ideal for paella since it conducts heat quickly and evenly. The pan is thin but quite rigid and durable. If the pan does rust, a few passes with steel wool takes it right off.

I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking. This pain is as close as it gets to perfection! It heats evenly, is scratch-resistant (no plastic or silicone tools required) and is as close to non-stick as any other pan I've tried and I've tried several! It's so much less finicky than my stainless steel or carbon steel pans. Worth every single penny and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The size is perfect for things like browning taco meat or large batches of sauce. The high sides mean that my stove top stays clean because nothing is splashing over the edges. I just set up the grill I ordered along with the paella pan! This is the 24" pan and it's big. It beautiful can't wait to use it out doors! I ordered the Weber 26" grill to go with it (keep in mind with this size pan if you use this grill the grate need to be turned inside out due to the handles, so the pan can fit properly) I love this set up so had to make it work some how :).
