It’s a great bed for the price. However, some pieces had scratches, but luckily only in places that are not noticeable. Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. We bought this bed for our 5 year old for Christmas. My husband was able to assemble it in a couple hours by himself. My daughter loves her bunktrundle so much! A couple things to know, there are weight restrictions for this bed! I believe 200lbs on the top bunk. However, we love the trundle because it makes it easy for an adult to sleep in there if need be. BUT when you are getting out of the trundle the woods slats creak a lot! One of the other things we like about this bed are the stairs and the build in bookshelf! We purchased the blue bunks. The color is beautiful for our grandsons big boy room. My husband assembled the beds in 3- 3 12 hours. The parts were labeled and ready to go. One person can easily assemble the beds but it does require a second person to help lift the beds. The color matches the dresser perfectly. Looks just like the picture online once assembled, ended up being the perfect size and height for my son’s bedroom and for him to enjoy for years to come, feels sturdy, good quality material. Assembly company was pretty good the first person wasn’t quite able to complete the assembly, I called and someone came two days later and finished it up, was fine since we are still in the process of moving our things. Love the bed, sturdy and seems to be constructed well. I added the assembly and the two guys that showed up were very polite and courteous. They also got the job done in 2 hours. My only issue is when the guys (hired through Handyman) were putting it together some of the wood frame pieces were taped together.
