Ok…. The directions are 27 pages long. I almost hired someone to put it together until I unboxed it, and it wasn’t that bad. Now…. Though, it took me almost 3 hours, and the directions say 30 minutes ( but that’s with2 people and I’m sure it could get done faster. I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense. okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. Such a great couch!! I didn’t realize there were feathers inside until I plucked a few, but no big deal! Very comfortable and extremely easy to assemble. The storage in the ottomans is a huge plus as well as the assembly being so easy to it connects with metal pieces that screw into the legs before you screw the leg on to hold everything in place. The color is so pretty!!! Like it’s if rainforest green and Satin-like hues had a BABY!!! Like OH MY GOSH!!! I love it so much, and it’s just so annoying that the pictures don’t do it justice!! Also, the pillows swole up pretty nicely. They’re not plush soft which i like, but they are a bit strong when newly opened, so that’s there too, but i don’t mind that either. The setting up was pretty seamless, they did forget to add a set of pieces needed but when i let them know, they got them sent to me in like 3- 4 days or so, which wasn’t too bad . Overall it took about 2 hours or so, probably less, to set it up by myself. It’s my first big girl couch for my new apartment so i was really excited about getting something that fits the whole idea i have for the space and it just EATS!!!! A big tip i’d say is to wait until the end of the assembly, when you start super tightening all the screws and stuff, then you’ll really see how STURDY this thing is! Best bang for the buck! I bought the three seater couch that came with (2) ottman's as well as the chair. The installation directions were super easy and I put them all together quickly.
