The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). The fabric is soft to the touch, gives you a cozy feeling and I love that it is all washable. The chair requires some assembly, which only takes about 15 minutes to get everything out of the box and ready to sit on. It does sit a bit low to the floor but it is very comfortable and being oversized gives you plenty of room.
