Perfect for the design space I am working with! I will be purchasing a few more for to complete this space. Amy. US. Tue Sep 01 2026

This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points. The sail I ordered measures 20' x 20' x 28.3'. it came with a installation hardware kit but I can't yet comment on whether the hardware kit works well. I also ordered another hardware kit in case I needed a different installation option than the one included. Unfortunately, Wayfair said it delivered both when I never received the additional hardware kit. After waiting 3 days to see if there was a problem with how the item was scanned, I have reported the missing delivery and hope that I will receive that other installation kit so that I can choose which kit will work better for installing the sai.. I love my new sail shade. Just what I’d hoped it would be like installing. As a 78 year old fella, I had it attached to my house in no time at all. Now, I’ve got to find a way to layer another one. Back soon.. Robert. Roanoke, VA. Wed May 15 2024

Perfect Size & Triangle Design: Our 12ft equilateral triangle shade sail offers ample coverage for patios, gardens, and backyards. The classic triangular shape fits seamlessly into most outdoor layouts, providing optimal shade without sacrificing airflow.

I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

Installed this rectangular shade sail over our back patio and its made a huge difference — covers our seating area and the kids play space, and cuts the afternoon sun noticeably. Returning this sail because the fabric is more like a tarp than a shade that looks decent to the neighbors. The hardware kit seemed very solid, though, so I was tempted to keep the product just for the hardware (replacing the sail or improvising);.. Heather. Kittery Point, ME. Sat Sep 12 2026

This heavy-duty, waterproof, shade sail is a beautiful color, and will endure the high winds of the desert. The best part of this 12x12 foot triangle sail, is the sturdy, well-made winch kit that comes with the sail. It was not difficult to install, and because of the winch, easily adjusted so it’s not too loose, and not too taut. I love the splash of color it gives the back patio!. Leslie. Palm Springs, CA. Thu Oct 15 2026

This sun shade came very well packed and includes the hardware. It is a durable and thick material, but not too heavy so that it will sag. After It was hung, it blew a little in the breeze and did not pull the hangers down from the fence poles.. Denise. Saint Simons Island, GA. Mon Oct 27 2025

Love the color but I ordered one that is too is too small so will use this elsewhere and order another that is also square. Was disappointed that the hardware did not come with it.. Tinseltowngal. Hollywood, CA. Thu Jun 18 2026

This breathable, UV-stabilized material allows air and water to pass through, preventing pooling during rainy days. Reinforced with built-in stainless steel cable wires and rings, the shade sail offers superior strength and enhanced appearance, perfect for patios, swimming pools, and more.

This is a very high quality sail. I have yet to install it as I figured, like many of the other sails that it came with the hardware to do so. Unfortunately, hardware is secondary but, like I said, fabric is super thick and uses steel cable loops and metal corners for ultimate reliability. Will definitely update once fully installed..
