This door comes in 9 narrow pieces that need to be slatted together. That process was easier than expected, though we cant stop laughing at the cheap stickers included to cover the bolt holes in the sides. Its a nice, solid heavy wooden door. The hardware was also fairly straightforward to assemble and hang. We appreciated the pre-drilled holes for the wheel assemblies. It needs to be sanded, the wood is very splintery. And it was a real pain to paint! 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint, and its going to need at least one more. The Paneled Manufactured Wood Primed Barn Door Without Installation Hardware Kit is produced using MDF medium-density fiberboard. The 2 Panel MDF barn door has the design router carved on both the front and back of the door. All hardware including sliding track and handles are sold separately. The door is primed with an in-house white primer.

The doors were very heavy, and they were not squared. I was disappointed because of the price I had to pay for each door. One side was longer, therefore, if you look at the top, they are not leveled while the bottom was. Before you put them up, check to see that they are the same length on both sides.
