Chinese Deco Rug, Origin: China, Circa: Early 20th Century – Here is an exciting and appealing antique Oriental carpet – an antique Art Deco rug that was designed and woven in China during the early years of the twentieth century. Heavily informed by the aesthetic inclinations of the Art Deco period, this unique carpet is a compelling and thought-provoking example. A scalloped border of Rust encloses a purple/ Beige sand field on this exquisitely subtle and restrained antique Chinese Art Deco. At first the field appears empty or open, but it is actually covered by a tone-on-tone design of scrolls and cloud-bands emanating inward from the outer edges. In their sinuous rhythms they echo the scalloped forms of the border and continue its visual effects across the carpet in a more subdued manner. This carpet testifies to the masterful design sensibilities of Chinese weavers as they made the transition into the modern world. The Art Deco movement had an outside influence on the world of art and design, and some of the most important qualities and characteristics of that movement may be found in this fine rug.

Thick and beautiful! Bought the 7' 10" round rug for our entryway as we begin to remodel it, and wow, does it make a statement! The navy is very dark and looks black in dim lighting. The shades of the other colors will differ according to your lighting and decor. The cream is very light and also has a light sandy tan. Also a sort of light Terra-cota that's very pretty. The lighter blue is almost a light smoky gray with blueish tint. The very center of the rug has a shade of muted light green. Then hints of a burgundy red throughout. The shades and colors blend and compliment each other perfectly, making this rug quite beautiful. We don't have good lighting in our entry, so they don't show exactly true in my pictures, but close. The pattern is stunning. Quality looks to be superb.. Melinda. Aubrey, TX. Mon Aug 30 2021

This review is for the executive desk that had to be return for a manufacture issue. The tram jad to spend some time to dismantling it, so I actually could chat with them. Very professional and kind people , with nice, open smile on their faces. Although I was upset for the fact that now I need to wait few weeks for the replacement desk, these guys made my day.
