This set is as sturdy as it is beautiful. It was also very easy to put together. My patio is on the 3rd floor and the set was split between 3 boxes, this made it so much easier to get up the stairs (there was no white glove delivery option). One chair did ahave a small crack in the seat base but it does not seem to have an impact on the quality or sturdiness of the chair. We bought this set for a smaller area then recommended and the chairs do not push under the table because of the shape of the leg design so be sure to consider the recommended space for this set.. The chairs are quite comfortable, sturdy but easy to move. After reading other reviews about the finish. We applied two coats of flat spar varnish. Looks fabulous!
