The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I have not painted the building yet as too hot in NC but will later. It will serve as my new camping site! My neighbor Keith also constructed a deck for the she shed as well. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. I need to complain first. The shed was supposed to be here april 12-15th instead it was on its way in February....that didn't work out so they postponed it until March 12th. Then there was a delivery issue, were they wanted me to pick it up (with a flat bed in ohio) OR rent a high-low to get it off there truck...!? Wait that's not what the add said!! Finally it came and got off the truck. The shed itself is easy to put together the trusses were a bit daunting and I would have to say the hardest part was figuring out the roof sheeting sizes. After that it was a snap, I even put in electrical and outside lighting in the soffit. I also used the box it came in to make a (FREE WORK BENCH) as well as rafters for extra storage...I used every bit of what they sent me and this is what I ended up with. Five stars because its perfect for towels etc but its not built for outside because if it rains the water would go through the holes in the doors and the tools and other items would be rusted and the wood would probably rot out eventually. Cute and easy to assemble little shed. I bought because I needed something small to place on my deck for those outdoor tools and items that seem to accumulate during the changing seasons. I took measurements and then errored on the cautious side a little too much. Turned out to be smaller than expected but kept because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning. I’ve read other reviews about the wood being soft and they weren’t wrong. Wood mars easily, a fingernail can mark it. Overall I got what I paid for. Again, it’s cute, and for the most part is storing what it can and pretty sturdy. Time will dictate how long it will last. There were good written instructions provided along with a DVD movie and photos. It went together without a problem. Mine even has a tree growing through it! The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. Beautiful shed. However, pretty tricky to put together - you need two people. The instructions are confusing, pictures are not helpful, all the long pieces on the side back and front are smaller pieces connected to make larger pieces it's quite wobbly through most of the building process. You need time and patience to put this together. Notes: - I consider my husband and I quite handy (we built a primary bedroom closet from scratch - plywood). - we used different handles than in the picture (see ours) because the handles were really bent and cheap metal.
