The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. The product seems to be of good quality. 3 stars because I personally thought it is a 3 panel as it shows on picture 1 and 3 but it is indeed only 2 panels . Just something I thought buyers should know because no where in the listing it mentions how many panels which I found it misleading. And when I contacted the customer serving they said I should have looked at the specifications which again doesn’t mention how many panels . This item arrived well packed. It too a minute to unbox. This was IMPOSSIBLE to put together by myself. The directions were clear but it didn’t come together easily. When you put some slats in and you pull the two outside boards apart slightly to put more in, the first ones would fall out like dominos. Very frustrating! It took two people to assemble in about 40 minutes. It sounds like a long time for something so simple, even with the helper sticks, but it wasn’t. After everything, it turned out beautiful!. Cheryl.
