These are heavy duty mounts. They swivel nice and quiet. The heavy duty springs make for a comfortable ride. New construction on my install so I blocked for a swing in the ceiling during construction. The lag bolts are 1/2 inch. If going into a 2x4 I would make sure it was centered.. Anonymous.
