Wow, this is a beautiful lantern. Arrived very securely packaged. I found the same item on another (much more expensive) website before I found the exact same thing here at a substantially better price (kicking myself over that one). This lantern is just beautiful in both day and night environments, but especially at night, when the colors reflect on the surface the lantern is sitting on. The solar bulb is bright, allowing for the beautiful reflective design. The thickness of the glass is substantial -- it doesn't feel like it will break easily. So I bought all three versions of the air balloon, solar lantern, this being the rainbow version. I believe this is a much newer model than the other ones as it has a light that goes down into the basket as opposed to the other ones. This one also came in more modern Styrofoam that doesn’t fall apart with little pieces of it all over your house static electricity stuck to your walls forever. I displayed this in my balcony and although this solar lantern is possible to charge without directly placing it under the sun it does charge but it will only last like 2-3 hours the most .
