The water wave projector is a heavy duty solid light. It can be mounted to the ground or up high. It comes with a handy remote to change your colors. If you loose or misplace it, the light will be obsolete. I have not hooked it hp to music .. The wave pattern is nice . I suggest mire than ine for a large house like mine. These lights were pretty easy to install and work very well. The coverage of the light is good, but the motion sensor takes a little bit to activate which is also good because you wouldn't want these lights coming back on with evey little movement if you are not actively using them or if you are not in the area that they have been installed.. They project a very nice pattern. If the light gets a decent amount of sun during the day, it will last all night. If it's in the shade, maybe not. The different light intensities and colors are very fun. I used green to go across my lawn and white to go down the side of my driveway. I did have one stop working. I took two screws out of the back of the top and found the cable from the battery to the circuit board had disconnected. I plugged it back in, the light came on and has been good ever since. Yay!!!.
