The bed is handcrafted in Pennsylvania with 100% solid knot-free yellow pine. The side rails and a series of wood slats accommodate your standard-size mattress or our 4-inch long-lasting cushion (not included) with no need for a box spring. The rope is made of polypropylene film yarn that is 100% waterproof, UV-treated, and will not get rough on the hands.

This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back.
