This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. The Assembly Process -It took me right around 45 minutes from start to finish to put both chairs together. **Pro-tip:** grab your own drill and a socket set. Using real tools instead of the flimsy wrenches they include makes the entire process infinitely smoother and faster. The only minor critique I have is regarding the instruction manual. Calling it "vague" would be an understatement. The manual essentially boils down to four hilariously brief steps: Put the top together. Put the bottom on the top. Install the top to the base. I think I have purchased over 24 of these chairs. We love them. They hold up great. They can hold up to 350lbs. This makes it nice for our heavier guests. The last two had a defective part. But, no problem. I sent a picture and they are mailing me replacements. I don't think I will every purchase a different outside chair. They are very comfortable and I like the swivel.. Mary.
