The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I have not painted the building yet as too hot in NC but will later. It will serve as my new camping site! My neighbor Keith also constructed a deck for the she shed as well. Its very cute! It was fairly easy to assemble -- we didnt have problems with pieces missing or not fitting at all, and did it in about 6 hours all together. Some of the wood pieces are not in great condition, arriving already with splits in them or fraying (the wood is thin and splits easily), and inconsistent painting on some pieces. We paid 400 and I feel the quality is appropriate for that price, but if we had paid 700 I would be more upset about these flaws. Only other note is that I wish the door was taller--my daughter is 5 and we know she may only get a couple of years out of this at this point, but she is already inches above the door opening and has to duck to enter. The design could easily incorporate a taller door into the frame (we may end up hand-cutting a taller door) and this would increase the lifespan of the product in families. The playhouse was pretty simple to put together. We opted for a wood house in hopes to keep the temperature lower in summer months.
