That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these. I spent so much time looking at the marketing photos trying to determine if the curved shape would be uncomfortable - but they are amazingly comfy. They were packed well, and the video showing how to put it together could not have made it simpler. The instructions say it takes 2 people but I'm 71 years old and put each together is 10-15 minutes without any issue. Adorable and cozy! Took maybe 30 minutes to put together with distractions from kids and pets. Big enough for me to stretch out on lying down and wide enough to cuddle with a few puppies and/or a kid but I'm a small person (5ft tall). Absolutely will not flip over. My 90lb puppy loves it and kept hopping on and off and I didn't fall out. Before ordering, I was mostly concerned with the thickness of the cushion. I've looked at a few of these chairs and that seemed to be the main complaint. My cushion is great and appears just like the picture. I love it. The puppies love it.
