The privacy screens arrived yesterday and I opened one of the boxes today. There are 3 panels per screen to fasten together, and the legs to attach. Hardware was provided, as were the instructions. I compared these from many places and decided to buy from Wayfair because of cost, and Ive bought from Wayfair many times before (and have had hot and miss experiences, but if I actually get the item, it has been fine). They are nice looking and fairly sturdy, although they fell over in a windstorm, despite the metal stakes that come with them. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I saw reviews elsewhere that said the same thing. I paid more for the color I wanted and didnt get it. We bought three of these to create some privacy from our neighbors at an awkward angle near our fence. They’re very pretty and do a great job of creating some privacy without being too harsh. Assembly wasn’t complicated, but it was tedious and a bit frustrating. You need to screw multiple nuts into bolts in very tight spaces and the parts are not machined well, so they don’t fit easily. Also, the tools they provide are nearly useless. After assembling the third one, my fingers were like raw hamburger. I recommend investing in a ratchet tool if you’re purchasing multiple screens. As others have said, they’re sturdy but aren’t going to sustain any significant wind. We installed them in soft ground with the included stakes but we will need to reinforce them as they’ll quickly lean. The flower design creates sharp edges that poke out and can easily hurt you. I really like these screens. I bought an 8' piece of C-channel, cut it in half, and mounted each screen between the two pieces. Then I was able to attach them to my patio fence to help block the view a bit without completely obscuring the scenery. Plants will go in next. I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. This patio privacy screen seemed to instantly elevate our deck by creating more of a barrier between our deck and our neighbors, on one side. If you don’t read anything else, just read this: use a 10 mm nut driver to put this together or you’ll surely go insane. The little “wrench” that it comes with will NOT do the job. Ok… this privacy screen is super easy to assemble it is just tedious because of all the nuts and screws. I have a small deck that needed a little privacy and this worked great. I couldn’t put them side by side the way they are supposed to be but I knew that before I ordered it. The position of the deck post was just a bit off and the foot of the screen couldn’t fit underneath. I just over lapped them a bit and used zip ties to keep them together. I also used the zip ties to attach it to the top rail of the deck. Decorated it a bit with some silk ivy and it gave me just what I needed. It comes with heavy duty anchors if you’re putting this on the grass but I am not sure how well it would withstand strong winds. It is very heavy and you probably need 2 people to lift each screen when assembled. I assembled it by myself and it took about an hour. Well worth the purchase for my purpose.
