I like the overall concept of the Outdoor Kitchen Island BBQ Prep Station, but the setup process needs serious improvement. The instructions are tough to follow. Expect some trial and error. This is not a solo job. There are a lot of pieces, so plan for two people and a few hours. One issue that stood out. The product images show a Blackstone griddle setup, but the grommet placement doesn’t line up well if you’re running a propane attachment. I had to drill my own hole to avoid putting tension on the hose. That shouldn’t be necessary. I haven’t added my Big Green Egg yet. Before I do, I’m considering reinforcing the base with additional wood just to be safe. It looks solid, but that’s a lot of weight. All in, it took about 6 hours to get everything assembled.
