BUY IT! I was so concerned about buying an appliance which would be delivered by who knows who. I didn't want to spend the $2,000+ the local stores were charging for similar items. I took the chance, so happy I did. I was beyond impressed with the packaging of the beverage fridge. It was easy to unpack even with all the layers of cardboard, wood, metal and Styrofoam. The instructions were clear and repeated so you couldn't miss them (let sit flat for at least 24 hours before plugging in) and it was easy to put the door on. This Freezer/Fridge was very much something for a big family's needs. Setup: It was the easiest setup of any appliance I've ever had. Frigidaire Chest freezer was already preassembled. The only thing is having the casters installed at the bottom of the freezer with is optional. Caster comes with brakes and glide very easily if you plan on moving it around to access the drain plug. Controls & Settings: Once the casters were on, the chest freezer was ready to use. To power it on and off, you just need to plug in the power outlet and unplug it when turning it off. There is a temperature control panel. It comes with an option from freezer to fridge and vice versa. Also, the temperature can be set in C or F. It also comes with a Freezer Boost option. The temp panel has an option to be Lock and unlock option. Defrosting Option: The chest can be defrosted very easily. Once you turn off the freezer, you can scrape off the frost with the provided scraper. Once completely defrosted, we can unplug the rubber plug and drain the excess water out. Even though it says it takes 4 hours to complete functioning and cooling. But I found it takes more than 8 hours for the freezer to be up and running. The chest came with 2 baskets that can be slid easily. If you have kids, and just for safety, it also comes with a key to lock the chest freezer. So far, we are enjoying this new appliance added to our garage, and I would definitely recommend others to invest in this if you are a food lover, have a big family, or entertain family and friends a lot.. 15163049641. I am giving three stars because the refrigerator arrived extremely damaged. It looks like something fell on it. I will say that it look like a huge, spacious, and amazing refrigeratorfreezer. Temperature is shown on the outside so you will be able to know and set it easily. You have keys if you want to lock it. We really wanted this for our overflow from our kitchen fridge. We need a large freezer as we have a lot of frozen items and at this point, they really do not fit in the regular fridge. This is a commercial size refrigeratorfreezer and there is so much room! The racks are heavyweight so you can place plenty of things on them. I spoke with Wayfair the day it was delivered and they were amazing. They are going to be sending out a replacement. I will update when I receive my replacement. We are so excited! Delivery service is great as they keep you as to when they are going to arrive. UPDATE- I received my replacements and it is gorgeous! Not a scratch! Unit it’s amazing. Our stuff was frozen within 30 minutes! There is so much space we are so happy.
