Open tube design makes this mat ideal for all floor areas wet or dry such as pools, decks, shower/locker rooms, saunas, and SPAs. It can be used in low to high bare feet traffic areas. However, it may not be good for higher traffic areas where shoes are worn as they would be subject to much more abuse and would wear too quickly. Therefore entryways that may see more than 100 visitors per day should use a different type of matting.

Product is manufactured in 40' rolls of 2, 3, or 4 foot widths and we cut them to order. Once you get the mat, if it is too big, it is easy to cut down the length of the mat. Soft vinyl ribbons joining the threads are easy to cut through with a utility knife. However if you wish to cut down the width of the mat - this may be a bit of a challenge as you will need to use a saw.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I had purchased, from a local hardware store, what I thought were quality mats. After only about 4 months the wiper spikes broke off and left behind a flat surface that in turn became nothing more then a water tray. Not useful as a mat to wipe messy footwear on.
