Why Your Cats Need a Catio? The outdoors is full of potential dangers for cats. Toxins, predators, vehicles, and even the potential of getting lost can all threaten your cat’s life. But that doesn’t mean that your indoor-only cat can’t enjoy the outdoors. A practical solution is getting a catio, which lets your cat go outdoors and enjoy plenty of fresh air while still being safely contained. If your indoor cat is bored or spends lots of time looking out the window, he might enjoy a catio.

Love this! I have a cat door in my window connected to it. My Cats enjoy the freedom of going in or out. . Jody. Potosi, MO. Tue Jul 07 2026

This is an edit. I opened up the top and it split the wood. I can't prop it open as it would be dangerous for the cats. Disappointed, hope i get some response soon. I usually have no issues, I pay someone to assemble my orders just to be sure it is done correctly.. Debb. Rio Rancho, NM. Sun Oct 04 2026

Had potential and is attractive but assembling this is awful (few pre-drilled holes, mislabeled parts, poor instruction labels, not enough hardware) and the “weatherproof” product buckled within days of sitting on my deck. Tried to get support and replace the warped part but would have to start over with a new one or disassemble and return this one for refund.. Alcora. Silver Spring, MD. Thu Sep 10 2026

It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. We were missing 7 main screws but nothing we couldn’t get at the stores. We have three heavy/fat cats. Overall I’d say if you would like a safe and spacious enclosure for your cats this is nice.. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. We love the slanted roof that allows water to run off. Most catios seem to have a flat roof that causes water to pool. The cats are enjoying it!. Olivia. Alpharetta, GA. Mon Aug 18 2025

I absolutely love this catio cat run and my cats are enjoying getting to be outside in the grass! I also purchased the two story heatedinsulated cat house and it fits perfectly inside. (I assembled it from inside the cat run so that I would not have trouble fitting it through the door.) The only problem I had was that some of the instructions for assembling the cat run were incorrect, but it wasn’t hard to figure out how to remedy the correction. I would also recommend using extra screws to secure the bridge, part N, to the other part N, beside it.The instructions said to build the cat boxes in the uncovered area of the cat run, but I will most likely be moving them to the covered area. Also, the instructions say it only takes 2 hours to assemble and it took us several hours to assemble. We used a Dewalt drill to assemble and I recommend this vs. only using a screw driver.. We got this Catio for one of our cats who sometimes needs safe separation from our more dominant male cat. For this price, this is great. Assembly was easy but a little longer than the 45 minutes listed on the instructions. I don’t think this would last all that long in our hot, humid, rainy weather, but it will be fine since it is in a covered area.. Katie. Houma, LA. Sat Oct 17 2026

A two-level wooden house for cats and small dogs that stays outside year round. The upper level is a covered balcony with a rail on three sides, so an animal can sit up high and watch the yard. The lower level is the enclosed den, reached through the front door or the side door - both fitted with clear PVC flaps that cut wind and rain without blocking sight or airflow. The frame is solid wood in black and ochre yellow, topped with a black asphalt felt roof sized at 23.6" x 22.8" to shed water away from the panels. Two short jump boards on the left side give smaller animals a step up, and a dark gray scratching mat on the right takes the abuse instead of the furniture indoors. Overall assembled size is about 23.6" W x 22.8" D x 29.5" H, with the main body at 20.5" square and the balcony rail standing 5.9" high. Each door opening measures about 8.3" x 9.1", and the jump boards are about 9.6" x 5.3" each. Plastic caps on all four feet lift the wood off wet ground. Assembly required.

It was easy to assemble. We have community kitties who are already checking it out. Great purchase!. Terra. Sylacauga, AL. Wed Oct 21 2026

Built with solid wood walls and a pitched asphalt roof, this shelter is made for backyard, porch, or patio use. The openable roof and removable floors make cleaning simple, so it stays fresh season after season.

Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together. I would have given it 5 stars but as you can see in the last picture one of the pieces came with a crack in it. We will seal the crack and I think it will be fine.. Tgreen. Missouri. Sat Aug 15 2026

A stray cat waiting in the cold. You can't take them all in, but you can give them a safe place to stay. This double-decker shelter is built for outdoor life—stray and feral cats included. Insulated walls hold warmth inside. A raised base keeps dampness out. The removable roof makes cleaning simple. Place it in your yard, an alley, or any quiet corner. It's not fancy. It just works. And for a cat with nowhere else to go, that means everything.

Love this! I had a catio of 12x12 built for my cats and this was easy to put together and I can never get cat trees together but each piece is labeled with a letter it made putting it together easy!. Amanda. Morgantown, WV. Tue Jul 21 2026

A large walk-in door simplifies feeding, and the slide-out litter box track makes cleaning effortless. With an all-weather Oxford cover for year-round use and easy tool-free assembly, it’s the gift that gives your cats the outdoor life they’ve always wanted.

This catio is really attractive. It seems solid and is spacious. I wish the small doors swung inward instead of out - that doesn’t make much sense to me - that’s why I gave 45 instead of 55. Oh, and also some of the pieces didn’t fit well together and sort of cracked when drilling in. It doesn’t seem to impact the integrity initially, though.. Mindy. Pnw. Tue Oct 20 2026
