Nice little cat condo. Easy to assemble . I have an outside for a feral cat and it held up through salt wind and rain. I had to block off one of the entrances due to the wind but since it has three entrances he still had a quick in and out. Anonymous. Washington. Sun May 10 2026

This cat house keeps every kitty warm with a waterproof PVC heating pad and chew proof cord, ready for winter nights. The built-in safety heating pad features a low-voltage design that provides a constant temperature for even heat distribution, with a temperature range between 95°F and 113°F, ensuring your cat stays warm in cold weather. The heating pad is constructed from multiple layers of materials, including waterproof Oxford cloth, PVC, and insulating sponge, to ensure safe usage. The upgraded chew-resistant cable is designed to withstand the natural curiosity of cats to chew, thereby extending the lifespan of the cable. Additionally, the cable is 5.6 feet long, which is ample for outdoor use. Suitable for various weather conditions, including rain, snow, strong winds, and summer. Its asphalt roof and waterproof materials ensure durability and water resistance, providing a safe and comfortable outdoor shelter for your pet.

This will be great for our feral kitty. We haven't had a chance to check out how the cat likes the inside or how the heating pad works in the cold, but right now, the kitty likes being underneath the deck. The complaints about the dirt is just referencing the granules that come off of the roofing material ... be sure to assemble in a place where you can clean them up easily. Assembly was a bit challenging, for things like attaching the housing unit to the deck ... it's hard to get underneath to drive in the screws and I would recommend drilling holes through the decking first, not much room to maneuver and at this point you can't really turn it on it's side and keep things aligned. I used a short phillips screwdriver to set the screws, then turned it on its side to tighten them. Roof assembly was a bit challenging. there's no real positioning instructions so I used the aggregate on the short side pushed up to the housing part for alignment. Screwing in the roof was also a challenge. After positioning, I marked the hinge screw holes with a pencil, took off the roof pieces (did this one by one), drilled holes (btw, drill larger holes in the door strip flap attachment and other small wood pieces to keep the wood from splitting), put the roof pieces back on, and screwed them in ... not much room to maneuver here either ... I had to rest the unit on my knee to elevate it to screw in the hinges. The last challenge was putting on the roof peak piece, not really clear on the instructions. I turned it positioned it so it laid the flattest ... may not me exact center, but pretty close, then screwed it in ... on side only where the pre-drilled holes are. The roof support pieces you need to position as in the instruction diagram ... the one screw hole/screw acts as a pivot hinge to open and rest the roof part on ... not shown in the diagram. The unit is pretty big, much bigger than I anticipated. No complaints, but be prepared ... you could sublet it to college students. So far, I pleased with the purchase. I'd have given 5 stars if assembly went smoother ... perhaps you can benefit from my notes. The assembly was a bit. Bob. Brentwood, TN. Wed Sep 23 2026

This insulated cat house features a six-sided, all-around foam insulation design (covering all walls, roof, and floor) to lock in comfortable temperatures and provide your cat with optimal protection from the cold and heat. The heating pad is seamlessly integrated with the heated cat house, maintaining a constant and safe temperature for pets (35°C/95°F to 45°C/113°F) via an built-in thermostat. The entrance is equipped with a door curtain to effectively reduce the intrusion of cold air and rain. The openable design facilitates access to the interior, making daily cleaning simple. Suitable for multiple stray cats.

Sturdy, well insulated and good for multiple cats. I covered one of the lower doors to keep the wind from blowing in by changing it to a heavier fabric. I also had to remove the other plastic door flaps because the cat was too afraid of them. (The flap alterations happened later and aren't shown in the picture) Easy to assemble and took about an hour. Some of the pieces did not have labels and it was difficult to know if we had the Velcro in the right direction. Keeps the rain out well. I had to lure her in with cat treats multiple times before she saw it as a safe place. Great buy, would recommend. Although, the cat perch on the top floor is not wide enough to entice the cat. It's too narrow. The bottom porch is perfect to hold a water dish and food to comfortably eat on.. Andrea. Tyrone, PA. Fri Oct 02 2026

The Heated Cat House provides a safe and warm outdoor shelter for cats. It includes a UL-certified heating pad with automatic temperature control, keeping a stable range of 89–116°F. Built-in high-temperature protection prevents overheating or over-cooling, and a 6.5-foot bite-resistant power cord ensures added safety. This cat house is designed with full insulation, using high-density foam and fabric lining plus a waterproof PVC-coated exterior to keep warmth in and cold air out. The removable liner makes cleaning simple. The asphalt roof is weather-resistant, protecting cats from rain and snow. For larger spaces, multiple units can be combined. Durable materials and reliable heating make this insulated cat house an excellent choice for feral, stray, or household cats living outdoors.

I purchased three cat houses without the electric heating pads in August 2025. I wanted to provide year-round shelter for several semi-feral cats. One reason I chose these houses was that I could use the included insulation during the winter and remove it during the warmer months. I live in western North Carolina. After some trial and error, this is what worked for me. The cats used all three houses regularly last winter. 1. **Use the extra board to make the entrance smaller.** I cut the board that comes with the house to fit the width of the doorway and used extra screws to attach it across the bottom front. This helped keep the straw inside and reduced drafts. 2. **Put insulation underneath the floor in winter.** This made a noticeable difference. The cats preferred the houses that had something insulating them from the cold underneath, so eventually I did all three this way. In one location I used pine straw underneath the house. In another, I put straw inside a cardboard box beneath it. It isn't pretty, but it helps keep the cold from coming up through the floor. 3. **Use real straw for bedding.** Depending on the season, I used approximately 2–8 inches of straw inside each house. Do not use sleeping bags, blankets, hay (nay!), or decorative straw. If fabric gets wet during cold or freezing weather, it will not keep a cat warm and can actually become dangerous. Buy a bale of real straw from a feed or hardware store. Mine costs about $16. I changed the straw every few weeks and adjusted the amount as the seasons changed. Manufacturers do not recommend putting straw over a heated pad, so only use straw if you are **not** using the electric heating pad. I chose straw instead of a heating pad, following recommendations from cat rescue organizations for outdoor winter shelters. 4. **I taped the little swinging doors shut during winter.** I used painter's tape so I could easily remove it when the weather warmed up. I wasn't particularly concerned about predators in winter where my shelters were located, and blocking the doors helped reduce drafts and allowed me to pile the straw higher. 5. **I taped the two floor pieces together.** The floor comes in two sections, and I didn't want them gradually sliding apart. 6. **I did not use electric heating pads.** My usable outdoor electrical outlets were damaged during Hurricane Helene. Instead, on particularly cold nights I used palm-sized 18-hour hand warmers, activated them, tucked them securely inside socks, and placed them in the shelters. I generally used one when temperatures were around 23–35°F, two around 15–25°F, and three around 5–15°F. 7. **Location helps.** I think these shelters would do fine tucked into a reasonably protected outdoor location, and the asphalt roofs handle rain well. I especially wanted protection from winter wind, so I placed two houses inside my carport and one underneath my back stairs. 8. **Assemble them somewhere you don't mind getting a little messy.** I would not put these together in your living room unless it is also your project room! The asphalt roofing sheds some loose granules during assembly. 9. **Give the cats time to discover them.** I assembled mine in September 2025 and let the cats explore them on their own. Eventually, they decided the houses were theirs and began sleeping in them regularly. Once the weather warmed up, I removed the insulation, opened the little doors again, and reduced the bedding. The cats aren't using the houses much during the summer, but that is exactly what I expected. Overall, these worked very well for what I wanted: adaptable, year-round shelters that I could modify for western North Carolina winters and summer thunderstorms. With a few simple adjustments, all three became regularly used winter houses for my semi-feral cats.. Jewel Ward. North Carolina. Tue Aug 18 2026

Love this little house! It's so adorable. It was a bit hard to assemble, especially the parts for the roof that opens, but I got it done in ~3 or so hours. Love the look! My cat is obsessed with being outside in our protected yard and sometimes refuses to come inside even when the weather changes for the worse. So I needed something to protect her. This little house does the trick beautifully. However, at first I thought my cat hated the house. For weeks she refused to go inside, and if I put her in, sge immediately ran out. I think it could be because of the smell of paint, which lingered for quite a while despite veing aired a lot. But after a few weeks, just when I lost all hope and thought she'd never like the house, I started finding her sleeping inside of it or standing atop of it curiously! Needless to say this now has our approval. Great buy! And it withstood heavy rain!. Anonymous. Fri Oct 16 2026

This is a wonderful little heated kitty house. I liked the extra thick padded insulation and heated pad. The only downfall with this cat house is that there was only one door /escape route for cats (probably due to size and construction). The little awning and flaps are good, but we taped them up as I don't think most stray cats will want to push through the strange mini car wash rubber flaps. Top opens easily for cleaning and can be propped initially for skittish kitties that might be nervous to enter into a dark space. Overall a good value and solid construction. No issues with assembly and fairly attractive.. Christy. NY. Sun Aug 23 2026
