My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. This was a perfect way to allow our cats to go outside in a safe and fun environment. Took a little longer than it states in the description but totally worth the extra effort. Organize the parts ahead of time and definitely use a power drill. We built all the boxes and shelves the evening before so we could just install them after we built "cage" the next day. I bought this 2-story cat condo and overall I’m really happy with how it turned out once assembled. It’s not oversized, so it fits well against a wall or in a corner without taking up too much space, but still gives plenty of vertical activity for cats. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. It looks nice and is perfect for what I need! But the screws for the box need to be longer. I had two come out within minutes of putting them in.
