Stunning beautiful and high quality. The gold color accents are not as shown - they are very dark - almost the same color as the frame. I personally prefer the understated elegance it creates but if you want gold or brass accents, this isn’t it. The glass on the clock is convex which adds to the high end appearance of this clock. I’ve read reviews where people complained that it created a reflection, making it hard to read. I don’t find that to be the case. I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but went with 4 because the hands are dark and a bit hard to see so I painted them with nail polish and now it’s perfect. Fortunately it’s pretty easy to remove the glass from the front with a small screwdriver in order to paint the hands. Overall, it’s a great clock for the price. So far it’s kept time well, and the moving gears add such a charm to it. It’s a large clock and I was worried it would be too much for my space, but it looks great hanging over my TV.
