Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!. Cheri. Hollister, MO. Sat May 16 2026

This classic secretary desk has a small design, making it an ideal choice for compact spaces. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, and it rests on ogee-style bracket feet. The finish reveals the wood's grain variation (knots and all) for plenty of French country charm in your living room or bedroom. This desk is crafted with mortise and tenon joinery for a well-made touch. We love that the drawers give you a place to stash papers, pens, and other office supplies, while a drop-down front reveals space for your laptop and additional items. Best of all, no assembly is required, so you don't have to wait to tackle that project.

Love it! It's just what I need. (Could have wished for better delivery service, though. FedEx just left the box on my sidewalk (even though I was home), and there was no way I could move it myself (am a senior). I eventually enlisted the help of a friend plus a neighbor to get the box inside.... and it was about to rain at the time.) But I still love the desk!. Elaine. Winnipeg, MB. Mon Sep 21 2026

After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

It’s beautiful and well crafted, but a little top-heavy and wobbly. I also didn’t expect the insert to not be attached! Easy fix though to just mount it to the wall.. Rosie. Maryland. Sat Jul 11 2026

Every time I look at my desk, I couldn't help but smile :) This is the desk I didn't think I needed. I searched and looked for a long time and I thought I knew what I was looking for, until I browsed and this came up. I fell in love with the secretary design, that I can close the top and it becomes a sleek console/ desk --- but then there's the pull out tray too! And the gray colour is so pretty! I wanted to keep to the brown hues but the way it looked at the website made me take the leap to get the gray, and it didn't disappoint :) 10/10. Raquel. Surrey, BC. Tue Oct 13 2026

This writing desk is only 31" wide, just right for creating a cozy office area in an unused corner of your living room, or for a child who needs their own study space. It comes with a hutch that has two drawers and two open shelves, but you have the option to remove the hutch if you’d prefer a more work surface. This desk itself has two larger drawers; it’s made from engineered wood with a water-resistant finish and stands on four gently curving legs. Inspired by Charleston's classic coastal charm and rich history, this venerable secretary is finished in the heirloom-quality black cherry dark patina. Accented by hand painting on the drop-front lid, the secretary features a robust leather writing insert, 3 cubbies for storage, and 3 small drawers behind the drop-front, along with 3 lower drawers with self-closing drawer guides and cherry-colored interiors—pewter-colored pulls.

Feels like an antique one might purchase in Charleston. Very heavy. Had it in a bedroom and it worked as a desk and side table next to a bed. Now, it sits by the door for keys and mail as we enter the house. It works beautifully in that new spot as well.. M. Florida. Sun Aug 23 2026
