Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment. I don’t want to look at that computer after hours! Penny the pup approves this purchase!. Cheri. Hollister, MO. Sat May 16 2026

I have waffled on this between four and five stars. The chair is every bit as weighty and good looking as the pictures show. Not quite a chesterfield but chesterfield-like. The "faux leather" certainly feels as you would expect pleather to feel. I'm a fan of full grain leather typically but given the option of this versus a 2k+ chair of real leather it is a good compromise. I will say the following though as a "con" of sorts. There are a few comments here about the pitch of the seat. As an amateur woodworker I mistook this as not understanding that a proper seat needs pitch to be comfortable. The basic pitch (with the back locked) is a bit more than I thought it would be and I can see how a smaller person may not like it. I'm 6' and have it at top height so it works for me, but just be aware that the pitch of the seat is a bit more than you may be used to.. Andrew. Owens Cross Roads, AL. Sun Sep 13 2026

The elegant woven rattan seatback design on the outside of the Bal Harbor office chair complements the rich leather seatback on the inside. Aged brass burnished casters are featured at the bottom of the Bal Harbor office chair. The standard casters on all Lexington Home Brands upholstered chairs are designed for use on carpeted, porcelain, ceramic or stone surfaces. Most hardwood and vinyl floors have a softer surface, which may cause casters to leave tracking marks. In cases where the chairs are used directly on hardwood flooring, engineered flooring or vinyl surfaces, the standard casters should be replaced with hardwood-safe casters.
