i have to give this a four - the instructions are bit lacking - but the real problem was me - i thought it was a spring tension pole - it doesn't fit my shower - i may be able to use it as a curtain rod - my fault - otherwise it is nice looking and well made. Used this tension rod to hang a fairly hefty curtain outside to hide the grill and other misc stuff. It’s been months and it’s still there and we’ve had some strong winds come through. You do need to add pieces to the rod to get the full size, then the last piece has the tension part. For the price it works. I do own more expensive rods for large areas that are one solid piece. I’d say this is good for a window or area where you will not be constantly moving the curtain like a door. Not flimsy but not the strongest out there.. Dayna. Tucson, AZ. Thu May 28 2026
