This dresser is really nice. It took four hours to put together with one person doing it. The fact that it has so many drawers was the reason for taking longer. Great quality solid dresser very heavy looks great and it should last a very long time. I do have to mention that there are a lot of pieces in putting this together the directions were good but could have been a little better in a couple of areas. All the parts were there and all the markings on the wood are there for screwing in the screws or any of the other hardware. I took my time it took me 4 hours to get it all put together put it in the bedroom and get it all organized with all my stuff. It looks great and I know it was put together right because I did it myself and its a very solid d.resser no weak points at all. I do recommend using a drill. My drill went dead before I was halfway through so I had to use the hand screwdriver and allen wrench. After charging the battery some more I finished up with the drill. I also recommend after you get it all put together dont put the drawers in yet, turn the dresser on its side and install the open swing door, that way youre facing down and can drill down instead of trying to do it with it standing up, you wont be able to do it that way. The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. It’s one of those nursery pieces that is both beautiful and incredibly practical, and I love that it’s designed to grow with your child rather than being something you’ll only use for a short period of time. The changing topper is such a convenient feature. Having the changing area securely positioned right on top of the dresser makes everything so much easier and keeps all of the baby essentials within easy reach. It saves space in the nursery while still giving us a dedicated changing station, which is especially helpful when you’re trying to make the most of the room. One of my favourite things about this dresser is that the changing topper is removable. Once our baby outgrows the changing stage, we can simply take it off and continue using the piece as a beautiful dresser. I really appreciate not having to buy an entirely separate changing table that we’ll eventually stop using. It feels like a much more practical long-term investment because the dresser can transition with our child. The Hazelnut finish is beautiful and looks even nicer in person. It has a warm, classic look that works so well in a nursery without feeling overly “babyish,” so I can easily see us continuing to use it for years as our child grows. The overall design feels simple, timeless, and very well made. The drawers are another highlight. They feel sturdy and smooth, and I really like the safety interlocking drawer design, because it helps prevent multiple floors from being opened at the same time. Having that added safety feature gives us peace of mind, especially as our baby eventually becomes a toddler and starts exploring everything. Overall, we are really impressed with the quality, appearance, and functionality of this dresser. Really solid with good craftsmanship and finish. Shelves on both side are removeable if you want a larger section. Drawers have a smooth action and seem like they are durable. Also comes with hardware to secure it to a wall to avoid tipping, although it feels very stable so it seems like it'd take a lot to make it fall. There was some assembly required, unlike what the description said. Nothing too intense, the knobs for the drawers and cabinets and the legs had to be screwed on. Took less than an hour, and a lot of that was just removing the packaging. This thing is really heavy though so to get the legs on, you'll need 2 people to tip it.
