The color is perfect, although the wood grain is painted on rather than real wood and some color rubbed off when I removed a scuff that was on the front of a drawer when I unboxed it. We are so happy with this dresser and changing table! It’s one of those nursery pieces that is both beautiful and incredibly practical, and I love that it’s designed to grow with your child rather than being something you’ll only use for a short period of time. The changing topper is such a convenient feature. Having the changing area securely positioned right on top of the dresser makes everything so much easier and keeps all of the baby essentials within easy reach. It saves space in the nursery while still giving us a dedicated changing station, which is especially helpful when you’re trying to make the most of the room. One of my favourite things about this dresser is that the changing topper is removable. The instructions were clear and straightforward. No frustration or extra hardware left over. If you are dreading crib assembly, this one genuinely doesn’t need to be stressful. The quality is what really stands out. It arrived with zero damage, and the craftsmanship feels solid and well-made, not flimsy like other cribs in a similar price range. It’s also just beautiful. It looks like a real piece of furniture in the nursery not something that screams “baby gear”. What sold me the most is the lifespan of this thing, it’s not just a crib. It converts into a toddler bed and then eventually a daybed so we’re not going to outgrow it in a year or two like we would with a standard crib. There are a few features I love The locking drawers so that way you can only open drawer at a time is great for very young children, but annoying for the parent-that’s okay though.
