This shelf arrived packaged well with no damage. The instructions were fairly clear and the shelf is quite light making the building experience simple. The only hang up I had was with the back cover, as there are very many small screws and on my product the pre-drilled holes did not perfectly align with the cover's screw holes. The bookcase was fairly easy to put together, though it probably would have gone faster if my dog Unni had not been trying to “help” during assembly. It ended up being a little smaller than I originally expected, but that was on me for not checking the dimensions closely enough before ordering. In the end, it worked out well as a compact bookshelf for the bedroom. One of my favorite features is the built in lighting. The brightness is adjustable, which makes it great for softer nighttime lighting. I personally don’t use the touch slider controls very often because it also comes with a remote, which is honestly really convenient since I can adjust the lights without getting out of bed.
