Panel width is the finished width between the first pleat to the last. At least 2X of fabric width are used to make pleats and folds, which are more gathered than other headings and have permanent sewn-in pleats for a more elegant and aesthetic look.

these sheer curtains were just what i was looking for! it was difficult to find sheer curtain panels that were wide enough and these were perfect. they are just sheer enough to allow light through and to provide some privacy during the day. they come with adjustable plastic hooks but do not come with curtain rings. they look high end without breaking the bank!.
